Our Story

It all started with planning a wedding - our wedding. Anyone who’s been part of that process knows the big question: “What’s the theme going to be?” My wife and I knew it had to represent us, so we went all out: a tie dye theme. Tie dye napkins, groomsmen socks and ties, the groom’s vest, the bride’s dress, cake frosting, hanging decor… everything you could imagine.

We dove deep into mastering techniques for creating unique, intricate designs with the brightest, boldest, and longest-lasting colors - all while keeping it affordable.

At Dank Hank Dyes, every piece is hand-tied, dyed, and finished with high-quality fiber-reactive dyes that permanently bond with fabric. From classic bullseyes to wild spirals, mandalas, ice dyes, or experimental one-offs, no two pieces are ever the same. Each design is crafted with intention, but finished by the natural flow of dye - making every shirt a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.
